What is our approach to designing for the web?
If you want increased sales or greater service recognition, let us show you how.

Client questionnaire/design brief

We meet with the client or team to learn as much as possible about their product or service before undertaking a design project. Through a unique questionnaire we are able to establish certain goals.

A design brief is then produced detailing the marketing direction of the product or service, who your customer is, how you differentiate yourself from your competition and what your unique selling points are.

Your customer focus

We work with the results of the questionnaire and design brief (as noted above) to produce a design that sells your product or communicates clearly your service.

Technology

We use XHTML and CSS and rarely employ Flash. In fact, recent studies show that users are more likely to leave your website if Flash is involved. We also make minimal use of Javascript when there are cross-platform issues with browsers.

Higher web standards

Using tables to design a website was the thing to do in the late 90's and in fact many designers had no choice. But recently web standards have come a long way and tables have been replaced by XHTML and CSS.

Why is this important to your company?

A recent redesign of TWP's website using XHTML and CSS, reduced a typical page size from 96 kilobytes to 28k, a saving of 66%. As a result search engines have less work to do when crawling through your site, and that translated to higher rankings, more visitors, and more sales. TWP are #1 in Google for the search term "wire mesh".
